You’ll Know When It’s Time

How do plants know when it’s time to bloom? How do birds know when it’s time to fly south? Is it possible to control our connection with the natural world? What are our responsibilities towards each other, and when does influence become coercion? You’ll Know When It’s Time is a semi-choreographed collaboration between audience and performer, mediated through the interactive costumed body of the dancer, along wires which connect it to the audience. Never the same piece twice, this performance is a dialogue between dancer, audience and music; an experience of what it is to be connected; and a meditation on our place in the natural world and the passing of the seasons.
